Saturday no work out today

Well, with a sick kid and my husband working today- I just didn't have time to get in a good workout. So, I will need to take the dog on a long walk and stretch out a bit in a few minutes to get in some cardio.

Friday

Three days in a row--woo hoo. I am sore and tired but feel pretty good. I had a 9 am wo and when it was over walked 3 miles and ran 1 mile on the treadmill. Wow.

Sunday morning

Today makes 7 days of working out. Getting ready to go to the gym workout from 10-1130 today. Did pretty well this week. Ate right- for the most part- exercised 6 days and took my one day off as Friday.

fri and sat

Friday was my skip and break day....I did not exercise. I needed the time to rest. I ate a few more carbs and I had tri tip. Other than that I didn't eat too terribly bad.
I have an exercise class at 8 am today. Looking forward to it.
Back on track today.

lost 4 lbs

I lost 4 lbs and I hope never to find them again. Today we worked out with Jay's wo group. Wow, what a difference, I lasted 1.5 hours and was pumped and charged at the end of the wo. What a great rush of adreniline-wow.
So I signed up for 5 more sessions and will see how it goes for the next 2 weeks.
Feeling pretty good lately--and of course sleeping like a baby!

Monday morning

Made it to the gym. Copied all of the wo materials- prepped it all. So far so good. Today was lower body wo--ugh, tough work.
Not many people show up on Monday a.m. but about 1 hour later a few others showed up.
We learned how to use all of the wo machines today- that will help out. Tomorrow is cardio--a quick walk in the park.

Sunday night

Well we both made it to the gym this morning. It opened at 10 am, no one was there except for me and the trainer. Frances showed up a few minutes later. We did the cardio exercises today and stretched. I am sore and tired. Tomorrow is the lower body work out. As it turns out not many people actually go to the gym on the weekends. The trainer mentioned that about 2 people show up on Saturday and 1 or 2 people show up on Sunday. That is good I guess--means that we will have access to all of the equipment and are able to use what we need. The gym is nothing like the other fitness centers that I joined in the past--waiting in lines, wet and sweaty exercise machines--this one is clean, new, and pleasant.
The downfalls of the gym have nothing to do with the gym itself. There are many homeless folks who wander around the shopping center where the gym is located. That is not a good sign. I showed up a few minutes early and felt unsafe. So I left and drove around a bit.
Well tomorrow is both diet and exercise!!! Wish me luck!
